I am a CPA, CMA (certified management accountant), and the owner of the tech-enabled consultancy Pricing for Profit Inc. and the founder of the new self-serve Pricing2Profit app (now in beta-testing mode).
I also hold my CITP designation (certified international trade professional) and have worked with companies in the US, UK, and Canada, helping develop their profitable global growth plans.
I love entrepreneurship and have founded and co-founded five businesses, one in partnership with my daughter, The Bitter Blonde Pottery. I’ve also experienced the ups and downs of being in business, including the challenges around managing costs and pricing.
Along the way, I’ve authored numerous step-by-step Best Practice in Exporting guides and am beginning the journey of writing a companion book to the Pricing2Profit app.
I grew up the youngest of five children in a very artistic family. My father was a potter and elementary art teacher, my mother an avid fashion designer, my older brothers and sister all pursued art education and careers as curators and arts administrators, alongside their art. I was the outlier and pursued my Business Degree before I went to art school (where I took fashion design). My curiosity was (and continues to be) “How are we going to make money at this?” My passion for pricing and profitability began early in life!
